And then the planchette hovers in midair and then it flies and stabs the medium straight in the fucking throat.

The Banks sisters told the writer that under certain conditions, they could get a spirit portrait of a person in spirit life. It was kind of annoying, though, that they didn't like they it was like our it was like almost too silly that the main characters they are like the experts in this stuff didn't figure out what the fuck was going on earlier. That was kind of annoying.
