Speaker A:

On this week's episode of Devil Strap podcast, we'll learn the difference between porn and reality.

Speaker A:

Or do we?

Speaker B:

And Pamela's back and she's got new peepers.

Speaker B:

Let's do this.

Speaker B:

Hello and welcome to Devil's Trap podcast.

Speaker B:

I'm Diana and Liz and this week we're going to Talk Season 4, Episode 10, Heaven and Hell.

Speaker A:

Heaven and hell.

Speaker A:

Isn't that a strip club?

Speaker B:

Probably.

Speaker A:

I don't know.

Speaker A:

Yeah, I'm sure it is.

Speaker A:

Somewhere.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Some you.

Speaker B:

Oh, you know, just we're in the middle of some home improvement which is just slightly stressful and.

Speaker B:

And yeah, we had a good time celebrating birthdays with my parents, did a family dinner for Easter Sunday and than looking forward to trying to wrap up some of these fucking projects so that my house can go back to normal and I can go back to being more sane.

Speaker B:

Yeah, not sane, but more sane.

Speaker A:

Sane.

Speaker A:

Ish.

Speaker A:

I think we debated last night how much sanity you had.

Speaker A:

You were sanity adjacent.

Speaker A:

You had a sanity deficit, I believe is what your sister said.

Speaker B:

So yeah, yeah.

Speaker B:

So.

Speaker B:

But yeah, how about you?

Speaker A:

I really have didn't do much last weekend.

Speaker A:

I was recovering from multiple days of throwing myself at metal hoops and also my moon tent time.

Speaker A:

So basically laid on my couch and moaned and grasped my stomach and said why?

Speaker A:

Why do you hate the women?

Speaker A:

Why I hate you uterus.

Speaker A:

And yeah, so.

Speaker A:

But going to Baltimore this weekend, very excited get to see big group of my friends so I didn't seen in a while and it's gonna be good to get everybody together and I gotta get a new.

Speaker A:

A new travel mic because for my other podcast we're gonna be doing some in the field recording.

Speaker A:

So now I have a field recording mic for us and it's just the cutest little mic you've ever seen.

Speaker A:

It's so fucking tiny and it's gonna put little googly eyes on it and then just be like here.

Speaker A:

And this is.

Speaker A:

That's how we're gonna do in the field interviews from now on.

Speaker A:

Just with the tiny little googly eyed mic.

Speaker A:

Nice.

Speaker A:

We'll name it Mike Mike.

Speaker B:

Googly eyed Mike Mike Mike Mike Mike Mike Mike.

Speaker A:

So looking forward to that.

Speaker A:

And then coming back and slamming into the.

Speaker A:

Liz had a break from being a show pony for a while.

Speaker A:

Everyone is going to be sorry guys.

Speaker A:

If you're in our industry, I am very sorry for how much you're going to see my face on things.

Speaker A:

So sorry.

Speaker B:

Liz is going to be famous.

Speaker A:

No, no, I will not be famous.

Speaker A:

Just people just be annoyed by Me in my industry.

Speaker A:

Although the 60 Minutes just did a thing on what is this critical whatever.

Speaker A:

It's a cyber thing.

Speaker A:

But when the head of sza, she was wearing this necklace and it looked like a.

Speaker A:

It looked like a floppy disk that was made out of like, like kind of like resin or jewels.

Speaker A:

And I was like, so impressed with it.

Speaker A:

So way to step it up in our industry.

Speaker A:

I also got kind of annoyed.

Speaker A:

They're like, she's not like other people.

Speaker A:

She has nails painted the color of the Ukrainian flag.

Speaker A:

I'm like, really?

Speaker A:

This is what you're gonna bring up about the woman?

Speaker A:

That's ahead of our intelligence.

Speaker A:

Thanks.

Speaker A:

Way to go, 60 minutes.

Speaker A:

Just can't.

Speaker A:

You can't do it.

Speaker A:

You can't.

Speaker A:

You can't have something about a woman without commenting on her fucking appearance.

Speaker A:

Like what?

Speaker A:

Anyways, her nails did look cute though.

Speaker A:

Way to go, Jen.

Speaker A:

Your nail.

Speaker A:

Your nails were awesome.

Speaker A:

So I'll give her that.

Speaker B:

Oh.

Speaker A:

So anyways.

Speaker A:

Yeah, so getting.

Speaker A:

I also just want to leave the pollen if you guys are in the hill country.

Speaker A:

Like outside it looks like it snowed, but it snowed yellow.

Speaker A:

And it's just like trees vomiting up their sex juice so that I can die.

Speaker B:

Sex dust, technically.

Speaker A:

Sex dust, I guess.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Although one of my coworkers is telling me about, he has this tree that literally like splats it.

Speaker A:

Sex trees on the ground.

Speaker A:

And then like the poor, the spores just like pop up and I'm like, fuck you.

Speaker A:

Nature man is really pretty.

Speaker A:

Stop spooning.

Speaker A:

Stop having your sexy time.

Speaker A:

Your sexy time is over.

Speaker A:

Much like this episode you have had.

Speaker A:

We have had enough sexy time.

Speaker A:

I'm just kidding.

Speaker A:

We could have more sexy time because.

Speaker A:

Yeah, we'll get to.

Speaker A:

We'll get to that scene.

Speaker A:

All right, so Heaven and hell.

Speaker B:

No, we have to add one other thing exciting that happened for us recently.

Speaker B:

So I don't know how many hip hop fans we have out there.

Speaker B:

Oh.

Speaker B:

But if you didn't hear, if you have not heard yet, yet.

Speaker B:

Wu Tang Clan and Nas are doing a co headline tour and we are going to the Dallas show.

Speaker A:

We are?

Speaker A:

Yep.

Speaker A:

I got us pre sale tickets this morning.

Speaker A:

We're already discussing what tracksuit we will wear.

Speaker A:

If we need to get like a special tracksuit, we might.

Speaker A:

More like we may.

Speaker A:

We may have to get special tracksuits.

Speaker A:

And if you're a roll, if you're rolling in our posse and you know who you are, you're going to have to wear a tracksuit.

Speaker A:

Society.

Speaker B:

All right, now, Heaven and hell.

Speaker B:

So there you Go.

Speaker B:

We don't only listen to punk rock and country motherfuckers.

Speaker B:

We know what we're talking about.

Speaker B:

There we go.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Presidents are temporary.

Speaker A:

Wu Tang is forever.

Speaker A:

All right, so.

Speaker A:

,:

Speaker A:

This was the teleplay.

Speaker A:

This is all Crypt.

Speaker A:

It was written by Crypt.

Speaker A:

The story is quoted.

Speaker A:

Story credit is given to Trevor Sands.

Speaker B:

But.

Speaker A:

And I think as you could watch this episode, you're like, oh, yeah, this is Kripke all over.

Speaker A:

But.

Speaker A:

So we're gonna start off with our.

Speaker A:

With our damsel in distress because the angels want to kill her.

Speaker A:

They want to kill Anna.

Speaker B:

They really want to kill Anna.

Speaker B:

And Dean calls them out and calls them heartless sons of.

Speaker B:

For it, you heartless sons of bitches.

Speaker B:

Appropriate, because this was a to be continued episode.

Speaker B:

To be.

Speaker A:

You know, it was a to be continued.

Speaker A:

But I think there's a lot of those just, like, little nuances of language in here that are really good.

Speaker A:

Just like.

Speaker A:

And they're little things that are kind of throwaways.

Speaker A:

But then you think about them.

Speaker A:

We're like, oh, we took Jean's sons of you, you know, son of a bitch and turned it into heartless son of a bitches.

Speaker A:

So.

Speaker A:

But Uriel is a dick.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Yeah, we know that.

Speaker B:

We've figured this out.

Speaker B:

And the angels are like, yeah, Anna's not so innocent, though.

Speaker B:

And the brother.

Speaker B:

Our Winchester brothers are like, yeah, we're not going to hand her over.

Speaker B:

So Uriel decides to attack Ruby, which doesn't go well for no reason.

Speaker A:

Like, I was like, I mean, like, she's an abomination, but he just, like, poof, Just, like, goes after Ruby.

Speaker A:

And then what gets really weird, though.

Speaker B:

Ooh, guess who jumps in to help out.

Speaker B:

Ruby is Dean.

Speaker B:

Right?

Speaker A:

And so I'm like, okay, so he's.

Speaker B:

Coming around a little bit.

Speaker B:

Coming around a little bit that way.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

I think this can also be.

Speaker A:

The enemy of my enemy is my friend as well.

Speaker A:

Like, just like, I am sick of all the shit you're doing.

Speaker A:

So I think that's part of it.

Speaker B:

But, yeah, because he doesn't like Uriel.

Speaker B:

You can tell.

Speaker B:

And none of them do.

Speaker B:

And then also, I think it's a little bit of.

Speaker B:

Because he looks over at Sam and him kind of look at each other before he jumps in.

Speaker B:

And I think it was kind of tying into, like, well, she saved Sam's life.

Speaker B:

I guess I better save her from this fucking angel's.

Speaker B:

No.

Speaker B:

So I don't know.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

And so Sam tries to jump in and stop Cast Castiel because Castiel is going to grab Anna.

Speaker B:

And Castiel boops him.

Speaker A:

Boops him.

Speaker A:

Boops him right on the head.

Speaker B:

Boops around the head.

Speaker A:

That's like the Easter Bunny that came through.

Speaker A:

Boop, boop.

Speaker A:

And Sam goes night, night.

Speaker B:

He goes night night.

Speaker B:

But then all of a sudden, we get some crazy lightning and the angels look around and they just disappear.

Speaker A:

And everyone's confused.

Speaker A:

What's going on.

Speaker A:

I don't know what's going on.

Speaker B:

And it gets more confusing because the brothers go into the room next door where Anna had been hiding, and she's bleeding profusely from her wrists and has drawn symbols on a mirror.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Also, Dean helped Ruby up.

Speaker A:

Like, he didn't only just offend her.

Speaker B:

Yeah, he helped her up pretty well.

Speaker B:

There's a big.

Speaker B:

That's a big shift in relationship and behavior there, for sure.

Speaker B:

So.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

And they're like, what the fuck, Anna?

Speaker B:

What did you do?

Speaker B:

And she's like, she sent them away.

Speaker B:

And Jay's like, oh, how did you.

Speaker A:

Know how to do this?

Speaker B:

She's like, it just popped in my head, and I just did it.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Okay.

Speaker A:

So something popped in my head and it told me to slice up my arm and draw a picture on the window.

Speaker A:

And I was like, okay, sure.

Speaker A:

This sounds like a great idea.

Speaker A:

Why not?

Speaker A:

Sure.

Speaker B:

Usually if something pops in your head and tells you you should cut yourself and draw into your blood, you should probably seek help.

Speaker B:

Just say.

Speaker A:

To say that.

Speaker A:

That could be a sign of something.

Speaker B:

Yep.

Speaker A:

Yep.

Speaker A:

But Sam's just like, man, you know, this is.

Speaker A:

This is all serious stuff, man.

Speaker A:

It's a blood spell.

Speaker A:

It's a blood spell.

Speaker B:

The angels want her real bad.

Speaker B:

This is serious.

Speaker B:

But I do think it's funny at this point, they.

Speaker B:

They agree that Anna's interesting.

Speaker B:

I'm like, well, no.

Speaker B:

Bitch pops up out of nowhere.

Speaker B:

Here's angels.

Speaker B:

And then cuts herself up.

Speaker B:

And the angels disappear.

Speaker B:

I don't know.

Speaker B:

It's weird.

Speaker B:

So they decide to go to Liz's favorite happy place, Bobby's bunker.

Speaker A:

We're in Bobby's bunker.

Speaker A:

Oh, my safe place.

Speaker A:

I can just lie on that.

Speaker A:

That metal cot and watch the devil's trapped fan blades just reeling over my head.

Speaker A:

It's gonna make really pretty shadows, too.

Speaker A:

But Ruby can't go in because she's.

Speaker B:

A demon and she says it's racist,.

Speaker A:

But she's gonna help him out, right?

Speaker A:

So she's like, here are some extra crunchy hex bags.

Speaker A:

And so if that means, like, extra, like, rat school crunchy or like, just extra hippie crunchy granola snacks, we put some snacks in there.

Speaker B:

But we find out as the episode progresses that basically it keeps them from being tracked.

Speaker B:

That's the point of these hex bags.

Speaker B:

So the Dean's asking Anna about Angel Radio at this point.

Speaker B:

She's like, what are.

Speaker B:

What the fuck are you hearing?

Speaker B:

And she's like, it's dead silent.

Speaker B:

And they're like, yeah, that.

Speaker B:

That can't be good.

Speaker B:

That cannot be a good sign at this point.

Speaker B:

And so Dean leaves Ruby to kind of keep an eye on Anna while he goes to talk to Sam.

Speaker B:

And they're like, hey, Bobby's in the Dominican Republic.

Speaker B:

He told us we could use the place.

Speaker B:

And Dean's like, yeah, hopefully he's working a job.

Speaker B:

Otherwise he's at Hedonism in a banana hammock and a trucker hat, which is.

Speaker A:

An image I cannot get out of my head.

Speaker A:

And if somebody would please draw me a picture of Bobby Singer in a banana hammock with the trucker hat, I would be very happy.

Speaker A:

Also, the first thing that Dean asked about when Sam.

Speaker A:

Sam arrived is baby.

Speaker A:

Okay?

Speaker A:

So, like, obviously, I agree with your priorities, but Sam has stolen Anna's files.

Speaker B:

Yeah, he has Anna's files now somehow from the hospital.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

And she's had psychological issues since childhood.

Speaker B:

As a young child, she was saying that her dad, the Deacon who was murdered in the previous episode, wasn't her real father.

Speaker B:

Her real father was mad and wanted her dead.

Speaker B:

And while they're talking about this, they're like, what the fuck?

Speaker B:

There's something else going on here.

Speaker B:

She walks up and they're like, ruby, you're supposed to fucking watch her.

Speaker B:

Just like I did watch her.

Speaker B:

I watched her walk up the goddamn stairs.

Speaker B:

Not as far as per face.

Speaker A:

Yeah, I think he also missed that Dean was confusing reality with porn again.

Speaker B:

He does that several times in this episode.

Speaker A:

He does.

Speaker A:

He does that.

Speaker A:

But, you know, in this time, you know, the plumber laying pipes.

Speaker A:

Yeah, I can see that.

Speaker A:

But anyways, and it's just like, I don't know.

Speaker A:

I don't know what's going on.

Speaker A:

I don't know.

Speaker B:

Nothing.

Speaker B:

Well, I think it's kind of like an annoying dialogue, though, here, because she's like, you could just ask me my face.

Speaker B:

They're like, okay, what's going on?

Speaker A:

She's like, I don't know.

Speaker A:

I don't know.

Speaker B:

Like, how are you so indignant about the basket of your face when you don't know Bish.

Speaker A:

At the same time, though, like, if you walk into a room and people are blatantly talking about you, your initial reaction is like, what the.

Speaker A:

Like, why are you talking about me?

Speaker A:

Why am I not including this conversation?

Speaker A:

He is not helpful at all.

Speaker A:

So what do they go get?

Speaker A:

Detective Sam says, I have an idea.

Speaker A:

And so they're gonna go.

Speaker A:

Where are they gonna go?

Speaker B:

They've got to go get help from.

Speaker A:

Pamela.

Speaker A:

Yay.

Speaker A:

I love you, Pamela.

Speaker A:

So many little hearts.

Speaker A:

And so they go, Pamela.

Speaker A:

And she immediately to Sam and grabs his ass.

Speaker A:

And it's amazing.

Speaker B:

And so now to point out, just as a reminder, because, I mean, it's been a minute.

Speaker B:

Not that long.

Speaker B:

But Pamela is now blind.

Speaker B:

She is wearing sunglasses to.

Speaker B:

As a symbol to cover her eyes because she is blind now.

Speaker B:

And she is like, yeah, no, I totally want to help you guys.

Speaker B:

Any chance I get.

Speaker B:

Any chance I get, I can dick over an angel.

Speaker B:

I'm taking it.

Speaker A:

So she's so pissed.

Speaker B:

Oh, yeah.

Speaker B:

She's pissed because Cassiel stole is the word she uses.

Speaker B:

Her eyes.

Speaker B:

She pulls down her glasses and her eyes are all white.

Speaker B:

And she said, demony.

Speaker B:

I know, but that they're plastic.

Speaker B:

So she's got plastic prosthetic for her eyeballs because.

Speaker B:

And she's like, it works because it makes her look extra psychic to her clientele, but really, she seems to be covering them most of the time.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

And so, as we know, they did not remove Tracy's eyes.

Speaker A:

And they did not.

Speaker A:

No, those are.

Speaker A:

She does not have muppet eyes.

Speaker A:

She just had contacts in.

Speaker A:

And she said that they basically made her fully blind.

Speaker A:

And everyone took turns grabbing me, pointing me in the right direction.

Speaker A:

I still ran into things.

Speaker A:

One time, Julie McNiven was laughing at me during my close up.

Speaker A:

And once cut.

Speaker A:

She was just called me a snickering.

Speaker A:

She was just a stickering mess.

Speaker A:

So I think everybody just had, let's have fun with the blind girl.

Speaker A:

No offense, but to the not actually.

Speaker B:

Blind person, we're not.

Speaker B:

We're not harming somebody who's actually blind.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

So they decided to go hypnotize her in the bunker.

Speaker B:

So.

Speaker B:

Well, so Pamela's doing the hypnotism and keeps asking how she hears angels, how she knew the spell, who, what her father's name is, all these kind of things.

Speaker B:

She's like, I don't know.

Speaker B:

I don't know.

Speaker B:

And she's like, oh, yeah, my dad was Melton.

Speaker B:

And like.

Speaker B:

Like, that was the dad that raised her.

Speaker B:

And, you know, look further back.

Speaker B:

Who's your real dad?

Speaker B:

And then she starts writhing and screaming on the bed and flailing and throwing things, and there's metals breaking and lights are flashing and bursting.

Speaker B:

And they bring her out of the hypnosis.

Speaker B:

So she sits up and goes, thanks, Pamela.

Speaker B:

That helped a lot.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

And so one, I wish Pamela was my psychic and would do a reading for me.

Speaker A:

It would be fantastic and just be like, yes, tell me everything and just.

Speaker A:

But do it all in, like, Ramon songs.

Speaker A:

So, like, all of my predictions would just come up and like, you have 20, 20, 24 hours ago.

Speaker A:

Yeah, yeah.

Speaker A:

So.

Speaker A:

But she has remembered everything.

Speaker A:

And what Anna has remembered is that she's an angel.

Speaker B:

How do you forget that?

Speaker B:

She did.

Speaker A:

I know she did.

Speaker B:

So.

Speaker A:

So I think, as we determined last time, how can you determine if you're somebody is a demon?

Speaker A:

Well, why don't we figure out how you determine if somebody is an angel?

Speaker B:

Oh, okay.

Speaker A:

So, of course, the Internet has many ways for us to determine whether or not somebody is an angel.

Speaker A:

So I'm going to really.

Speaker A:

I'm pulling from this website called consciousreminder.com and some things I will paraphrase, some things I will not because they spent a lot of time and effort writing this, and I think you should hear their words.

Speaker A:

Okay, so first sign, someone may have been an angel.

Speaker A:

Were you super sad, and then you got a happy feeling.

Speaker A:

Well, you might have met an angel.

Speaker A:

So the example they give, you're in the pits of despair.

Speaker A:

You meet a stranger and they ask you for directions.

Speaker A:

Something about the way she.

Speaker A:

He smiles and says thank you.

Speaker A:

Makes you feel different, makes you feel alive.

Speaker A:

Even their presence is enough to influence your feelings and breathe the air of freedom and happiness.

Speaker A:

Angel aura shines so brightly, influencing everything around them.

Speaker A:

So if you're really, really sad and then you meet a stranger and you give them directions, you maybe met an angel.

Speaker A:

Okay, so that's the first one.

Speaker A:

Second.

Speaker A:

The second sign they call the awakening.

Speaker A:

And I can't paraphrase this golden, golden language.

Speaker A:

This is a contribution to English.

Speaker A:

It was another night shift and I.

Speaker A:

Maybe you can do this in an English accent because clearly based on the way that they are British.

Speaker A:

It was another night shift and you return home exhausted from all the paperwork you had to sign earlier, plus the work you had to do tonight.

Speaker A:

This was just another day.

Speaker A:

You hardly ever think of anything else rather than your obligations.

Speaker A:

But something strange happened today.

Speaker A:

Yesterday.

Speaker A:

Something strange happened yesterday.

Speaker A:

Taking the tube to get home Something different.

Speaker A:

There's a lady standing opposite you.

Speaker A:

Suddenly, she looks at you.

Speaker A:

You feel something you were not supposed to.

Speaker A:

At least not after 10 hours of work.

Speaker A:

It's a strange feeling.

Speaker A:

The splendor of innocence into her eyes influences you.

Speaker A:

So if this person you met managed to awaken a part of yourself just by smiling at you, you should probably consider this possibility.

Speaker A:

Angels remind us of the purpose of our life.

Speaker A:

So that weird lady on the subway that was looking at you kind of cross eyed.

Speaker A:

She could be an angel.

Speaker B:

All right.

Speaker A:

Don't make eye contact on the subway.

Speaker A:

What the fuck are you doing?

Speaker A:

Never make eye contact on the subway.

Speaker A:

That's how people pull out their penises.

Speaker A:

We know that.

Speaker A:

All right.

Speaker A:

Sign three Warrior Senses activated.

Speaker A:

As I'm also calling this.

Speaker A:

Did you know all of a sudden notice there are homeless people in the world?

Speaker B:

All right.

Speaker A:

So according to them, you're heading back from the gym and your body hurts like you've been in a car accident, which I can get.

Speaker A:

I felt like that coming from the gym last week.

Speaker A:

But that's normal for you.

Speaker A:

You play hard, you work a lot.

Speaker A:

You hardly ever since.

Speaker A:

More than what your daily schedule approves you to.

Speaker A:

While you walk back home, you see a beggar in the streets.

Speaker A:

And they didn't say homeless person, they said beggar.

Speaker A:

So you see a beggar in the streets.

Speaker A:

You search your pockets, and you give him some change.

Speaker A:

By that time, your nose starts to catch more scents than usual.

Speaker A:

You actually smell the rain again after many, many years.

Speaker A:

Moreover, a song is stuck in your head.

Speaker A:

A happy song which uplifts your energy.

Speaker A:

Hashtag Angels activate all our senses.

Speaker A:

There really is a hashtag in there.

Speaker A:

Wow.

Speaker A:

So you're a really selfish person.

Speaker A:

And you all of a sudden were pulled your head out of your ass.

Speaker B:

And noticed that there were other people around you.

Speaker B:

Yeah, People are observed the world around you.

Speaker B:

Yep.

Speaker A:

That was because you saw an angel.

Speaker B:

All right.

Speaker A:

Number four.

Speaker A:

Were you feeling used up and old all of a sudden?

Speaker A:

You feel young again.

Speaker A:

So you might be feeling old for a long time.

Speaker A:

Only focusing on boring tasks and house chores made you forget everything about.

Speaker A:

Didn't say what about, it just says about.

Speaker A:

However, you went to pick up a small bag of rice from the supermarket.

Speaker A:

They're very specific.

Speaker A:

Searching for what you wanted might take you a little more than usual.

Speaker A:

Then you asked for help.

Speaker A:

A tall, handsome man told you he could help you find it.

Speaker A:

You look for this particular rice together.

Speaker A:

Suddenly, this becomes fun.

Speaker A:

Hashtag Angels make us feel like children.

Speaker B:

And drugs.

Speaker A:

Possibly drugs.

Speaker A:

But you Know, you really had to find that small bag of rice, and a hot guy helped you find it, and you thought that was a good time.

Speaker B:

I mean, yeah, hey, I mean, if.

Speaker A:

I go frolicking through the grocery store with a hot guy looking for rice, yeah, probably pretty good, too.

Speaker A:

All right, sign number five is confessing.

Speaker A:

So basically, this one is if you have a grudge inside of you, and your friend died, but before he died, you had a fight with him, and you're feeling really bad about it, and you feel like a horrible person, and then a customer enters your shop and picks up something, like, the person who died preferred it, and you suddenly want to talk all about it, and the stranger seems interested in your story.

Speaker A:

You open up to him, you confess.

Speaker A:

Hashtag angels are the ultimate confessors.

Speaker B:

Okay, then.

Speaker A:

All right, so now you're working.

Speaker A:

You're working in a store, and a friend of yours has died, but you had a fight with your friend before they died.

Speaker A:

Now the stranger comes into the store.

Speaker A:

They look at something.

Speaker A:

You're triggered.

Speaker A:

And then you start telling the stranger all your crap.

Speaker B:

It just sounds like you're processing trauma.

Speaker A:

You're processing trauma on a stranger.

Speaker A:

Leave the stranger alone, because I'm going to be the one that's in the fucking store and be like, I just wanted an eraser.

Speaker B:

I really just wanted that fucking rice, man.

Speaker A:

I just wanted to help me find the rice.

Speaker A:

Give it.

Speaker A:

Send me the hot angel.

Speaker A:

Why?

Speaker A:

Like, I don't want to listen to your crap.

Speaker A:

All right, Six is healing.

Speaker A:

Whatever.

Speaker A:

I think we can drill that one out.

Speaker A:

Seven is acceptance.

Speaker A:

And so this.

Speaker A:

This one is great.

Speaker A:

So you were gay, and your whole life, you tried to hide it since you were a young man, you got bullied because of who you were born.

Speaker A:

You actually tried to change your sexuality.

Speaker A:

It failed.

Speaker A:

You asked advice from priests.

Speaker A:

They convinced you it's ascend.

Speaker A:

You were prayed.

Speaker A:

You prayed you were never born.

Speaker A:

And then you tried to hide yourself from others.

Speaker A:

One day, something delays you from going back home.

Speaker A:

It's a young man asking directions.

Speaker A:

Later, as you walk by, you see a couple young men walking together, holding hands.

Speaker A:

They kiss each other and say goodbye.

Speaker A:

It feels natural.

Speaker A:

Real hashtag angels can manipulate time and space.

Speaker A:

So.

Speaker A:

So angels are perpetually lost.

Speaker A:

They can't find directions.

Speaker A:

And so then if two guys start making out in the street is because an angel picks them up.

Speaker A:

Mean, move them out of time and.

Speaker B:

Space to put them in front of you.

Speaker A:

To put them in front of you, right?

Speaker A:

So you could get.

Speaker A:

Get your rocks off watching guys make up yeah, yeah.

Speaker A:

All right.

Speaker A:

So real quick though.

Speaker A:

That's, you know, if you could.

Speaker A:

That's how you know if you saw an angel.

Speaker B:

Right?

Speaker A:

But we live in an age of self empowerment, so why couldn't you, Anna, figure out she was a fucking angel herself?

Speaker A:

All right, so these are some signs that you may be an angel.

Speaker A:

And this is from Belief.net.

Speaker A:

All right.

Speaker A:

If you seem wise beyond your years, if strangers always approach you for advice.

Speaker A:

You feel like you have a strong sense of purpose, you have intense sensitivity.

Speaker A:

So in this one I had was like, what do you mean by intense sensitivity?

Speaker A:

And that means if you're very sensitive to other people and violent situations, most often earth angels are told you were just too sensitive.

Speaker A:

They may find difficulting crowds.

Speaker A:

When they are surrounded by people, they feel bombarded as if there are too many people around them.

Speaker A:

I'm like, check, check.

Speaker A:

They will also repel violence in any form.

Speaker A:

Oh, shit.

Speaker A:

No, that's not me.

Speaker A:

And it's a gift though.

Speaker A:

You should know that.

Speaker A:

All right, so if you're interested in methods of healing, you may be an angel if you're attracted to abusive relationships.

Speaker B:

What?

Speaker A:

I don't know.

Speaker B:

I don't even.

Speaker A:

Yeah, yep.

Speaker A:

So basically you have a deep rooted desire to help others.

Speaker A:

And so you may use things like food, alcohol or drugs to numb the pain.

Speaker A:

And then you often align yourselves with people who beat the crap out of you because you are attracted to abusive partners and people with deep emotional issues.

Speaker A:

Sorry, angel, that.

Speaker A:

That sounds terrible.

Speaker B:

That's a weird trait for an angel.

Speaker A:

To have, that is.

Speaker A:

Although with you, what happens in this episode later, I don't know.

Speaker A:

And then also the last.

Speaker A:

The last one is if you have an intense and deep personality, you could be an angel.

Speaker B:

So unfortunately, these angels sure shit, aren't fun.

Speaker B:

So, I mean, I guess I can see that.

Speaker B:

Yeah, yeah.

Speaker A:

So if only the boys or Anna had had this checklist, we probably could have been.

Speaker A:

Just miss all of these problems in this episode.

Speaker A:

Yeah, we.

Speaker A:

We didn't have to have a two parter.

Speaker A:

This could have been a one parter.

Speaker A:

She just would have been like, well, shit, you know, I think I want to be a nurse.

Speaker A:

Maybe I'm an angel.

Speaker B:

Yeah, exactly.

Speaker B:

I'm very attracted to very broken men who treat me terribly.

Speaker B:

And I want to be a nurse.

Speaker B:

Must be an angel.

Speaker A:

Clearly.

Speaker A:

Clearly.

Speaker A:

That is, that is.

Speaker A:

I think that's actually lyrics of a song.

Speaker A:

All right, so back to Ms. Anna.

Speaker A:

I'm not like the other angels missing.

Speaker B:

No.

Speaker B:

She remembers Castiel and Uriel, though, because basically she was kind of their boss is the piece together here.

Speaker B:

They were in the boss bitch.

Speaker B:

Boss Bitch Boss bitch angel.

Speaker B:

Anyways, so.

Speaker B:

But she was given a death sentence because she fell and she became human, like, on purpose.

Speaker B:

And it hurt a lot.

Speaker B:

She was, like, cutting out a kidney with a butter knife, which does sound extremely painful.

Speaker A:

It does.

Speaker A:

It does not sound fun.

Speaker B:

But she did this by rip.

Speaker B:

She was able to become human by ripping out her grace.

Speaker B:

So she found the.

Speaker B:

Her.

Speaker B:

The mother that raised her.

Speaker B:

Her mom that raised her couldn't have kids.

Speaker B:

And so she went there to be the baby that was born there and called her her miracle daughter.

Speaker B:

And that's it.

Speaker B:

And then just over time, growing up, she forgot that she was an angel, basically.

Speaker A:

Yep.

Speaker A:

Because, you know, you just forget that, you know, it happens.

Speaker B:

Just like, you know, 2,000 years of existence.

Speaker B:

Just, you know, you just forget it.

Speaker A:

You know it happens.

Speaker A:

I mean, you know, I forgot that I put up laundry last week.

Speaker A:

So, you know, I get it.

Speaker A:

I'm here for you.

Speaker B:

So Ruby's like, well, we're fucking screwed.

Speaker B:

Heaven wants her dead.

Speaker B:

Hell wants her in general.

Speaker B:

And.

Speaker B:

Yeah, and refers to her as the Stanley Kevin.

Speaker A:

But Anna has a plan.

Speaker A:

She does, because she's a boss.

Speaker B:

She's gonna find her grace easy.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

And this really impresses Dean.

Speaker A:

Well, I think.

Speaker A:

I think we probably figure out that it turns him on.

Speaker A:

And he is just like, yeah, man, you're gonna get a grace bat, take a divine bong hit, and then, boom, you're Roma Downey.

Speaker A:

I'm like, yes.

Speaker A:

Oh, technically, he said shazam, but boom works as well.

Speaker B:

So Sam's like, well, when would your grace, if you fell to earth at this velocity, would your grace have also done the same thing separately?

Speaker B:

So maybe we can find some meteors that have landed and could be you and the example of you and your grace.

Speaker B:

So the one in Ohio would have been her.

Speaker B:

And then there was another one in Kentucky, so they think that was her grace coming to Earth.

Speaker B:

And Ruby's still, like, she's fucking upset.

Speaker B:

She's like, this is all bad.

Speaker B:

I'm sorry, Sam.

Speaker B:

I shouldn't have brought you into this.

Speaker B:

This is like Godzilla versus Mothra.

Speaker B:

We're fucked.

Speaker B:

Is her summary.

Speaker A:

Yeah, she's wearing a very cute shirt.

Speaker A:

Is this little gray shirt with little skulls on it.

Speaker A:

And I really like it.

Speaker A:

So as she's, like, going over this thing, which sounds quite a bit like she's manipulating Sam.

Speaker A:

I don't know.

Speaker A:

She's a demon.

Speaker B:

I know what it would be.

Speaker A:

But she basically is just like, look, I'm afraid of Alistair.

Speaker A:

Like, that's what.

Speaker A:

And you're getting weak.

Speaker A:

And he's like, there isn't like a demon tugging, Jim.

Speaker A:

Like, you can't.

Speaker A:

Like, how the fuck am I supposed to work this out?

Speaker B:

Yeah, but she calls Alistair a Picasso with a razor.

Speaker B:

And apparently he was a Grand Inquisitor in hell and so.

Speaker A:

Inquisitor.

Speaker B:

Grand Inquisitor.

Speaker A:

Wasn't that Dolores's.

Speaker A:

Umbridge's job in High?

Speaker B:

Inquisitor.

Speaker B:

I don't remember.

Speaker A:

Oh, she was high.

Speaker A:

Maybe.

Speaker B:

Maybe.

Speaker A:

I don't know.

Speaker A:

Maybe I'm like crossing the clan with.

Speaker A:

With Harry Potter.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

I forgot to tell you that I saw Fantastic Beast this weekend.

Speaker B:

Son of a bitch.

Speaker B:

That was part of my pre show.

Speaker B:

Sorry.

Speaker B:

Anyways, yeah.

Speaker B:

So basically Ruby's like, yeah, Sam, you should have been able to send Alistair back and you didn't, so you need to work on this shit.

Speaker B:

So.

Speaker B:

And if Anna can't get her grace back, they're all dead.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

So Ruby tells him there's a way that he can get stronger, and he meatloafs her and is like, I won't do that.

Speaker A:

So, I mean, what do you think.

Speaker B:

That is to get stronger?

Speaker B:

I don't know.

Speaker B:

I mean, I guess it's just tap further into his psychic powers is what I assumed.

Speaker A:

Okay.

Speaker B:

I don't know.

Speaker B:

All right.

Speaker A:

Interesting guess.

Speaker A:

So we'll see what.

Speaker A:

We'll see what happens.

Speaker B:

He's.

Speaker B:

While he was getting more into them while Dean was gone, I felt like he still was kind of holding back.

Speaker B:

And that's kind of the side I. I thought that's how I read it.

Speaker B:

Okay.

Speaker A:

All right.

Speaker A:

So we're going to go out to the junkyard to find out that Dean is taking Pamela away from me.

Speaker B:

Yeah, Pamela back.

Speaker B:

So mean, after last time with the angels, she's out.

Speaker B:

She ain't fucking around with them.

Speaker B:

She's done.

Speaker B:

So she leaves.

Speaker A:

I mean, she's.

Speaker A:

She's a smart woman.

Speaker A:

And yes, you should stay away, but I just want to hang out with her.

Speaker A:

Maybe she was coming over to my house.

Speaker B:

That'd be cool.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

All right.

Speaker B:

Yep.

Speaker B:

So, yeah.

Speaker B:

So they're like, all right, we need to go.

Speaker B:

You know why?

Speaker B:

Dean's asking Anna a lot of questions.

Speaker B:

He's like, look, why would you choose to be human?

Speaker B:

This is kind of bonkers.

Speaker B:

Like, it's.

Speaker B:

Why would you want that?

Speaker B:

And she's like, you know, loyalty, forgiveness, love, every emotion.

Speaker B:

And she does not want to go back to being an angel.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

So Dean had a Lot of specific reasons too, about why being a human sucks.

Speaker A:

And his list was eating, crapping, confused, afraid, pain, and guilt.

Speaker A:

And I'm sorry.

Speaker A:

Crapping is fun.

Speaker A:

Everyone likes a good poop.

Speaker A:

I mean, everybody poopstein.

Speaker A:

And then Anna's counter was loyalty, forgiveness, love, chocolate cake and sex.

Speaker A:

And we were starting to like, dude, girl, you're just hitting on him.

Speaker A:

That is exactly what you're doing.

Speaker A:

Like, I see your game because you're just gonna keep dropping these.

Speaker A:

These things and just like, yeah, don't you want some sexy chocolate cake?

Speaker A:

And I'm like, yeah, I want some sexy chocolate cake.

Speaker B:

Everybody wants sexy chocolate cake, right?

Speaker B:

So Dean calls angels powerful and perfect.

Speaker B:

And she's like, no.

Speaker B:

They're cold and obedient and only four angels have even seen God's face ever.

Speaker B:

And it's all about faith.

Speaker B:

And you get killed if you don't have faith.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

So Dean's reaction is.

Speaker A:

I also thought this was interesting because he was just like.

Speaker A:

Like, how do you know there is a God?

Speaker B:

Right?

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

And so I think we're kind of getting back to that.

Speaker A:

That rocks Dean's face again.

Speaker A:

Because just like, wait, like I was like, I just started accepting there was a God because there are angels right now.

Speaker A:

You're telling me you bitches haven't even seen.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

How do.

Speaker A:

How do I know you're not being gaslit, right?

Speaker A:

Or I'm not being gaslit, right?

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

I was stationed on Earth for:

Speaker B:

Just silent and just standing around waiting orders from an unknowable father.

Speaker B:

And he's like, yeah, he can relate.

Speaker B:

Which is.

Speaker A:

He can really can.

Speaker B:

Parallel parallels.

Speaker A:

So they have sexy eyes.

Speaker A:

They make sexy eyes at each other.

Speaker B:

Sexy eyes.

Speaker B:

And then Sam announces that he's found accounts of a local miracle in Kentucky.

Speaker A:

Way to cockblock Sam.

Speaker A:

Way to do it.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

And so a.

Speaker B:

A full grown oak grew to the size of a century old tree in six months.

Speaker B:

So.

Speaker A:

Because it was in a hurry to vomit it.

Speaker A:

Sex juice everywhere.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Just had to fuck up people's.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

But they were just like, man.

Speaker A:

He was like, look, if I.

Speaker A:

If I do this fast, man, I can.

Speaker A:

I can get these people really pissed off.

Speaker A:

So it's like, I'm an evil fucking tree, but I'm pret.

Speaker B:

But so they think this could be Anna's grace.

Speaker B:

So it's also.

Speaker B:

And it's pure creation, which I think is cool.

Speaker A:

Right?

Speaker A:

So angel falls, like.

Speaker A:

And it doesn't like make like a big hole in the earth.

Speaker A:

It Makes it pretty cheap.

Speaker B:

Yeah, that's pretty badass in, like, six months.

Speaker B:

That's pretty rad.

Speaker B:

So Dean's driving, and with Sam sitting next to him.

Speaker B:

And then both Anna and Ruby in the backseat.

Speaker B:

And it's funny because it is cracking up.

Speaker B:

And he's like, oh, it's.

Speaker B:

You know, it's angel and demon in the back.

Speaker B:

Angel and demon in the backseat.

Speaker B:

He's like, it's like the setup to a bad joke or a Penthouse Forum letter.

Speaker B:

Once again, reality.

Speaker B:

Reality, not porn.

Speaker A:

But Dean's actually not wrong.

Speaker A:

I mean, it's a plausible reality.

Speaker A:

I mean, that.

Speaker A:

It's not a plausible reality.

Speaker B:

No, no.

Speaker B:

Because then Dean does Dean's line after that.

Speaker B:

Really?

Speaker B:

Got me.

Speaker B:

He's like, you call this reality?

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Valid.

Speaker B:

Valid.

Speaker A:

Yep.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

So they get to the tree, and it is really pretty.

Speaker B:

It is Beautiful tree.

Speaker B:

And they're all excited, and they're walking towards it.

Speaker B:

And she's like, this is definitely where my grace touched down.

Speaker B:

But then she puts her hand on it, and it's not there anymore.

Speaker B:

Somebody took her grace from the tree?

Speaker A:

No, but she still really likes touching the tree.

Speaker A:

Touch the tree a lot.

Speaker A:

So Dean's just like, what?

Speaker A:

What do we do now?

Speaker A:

Let's go back to the panic room.

Speaker B:

Squad house.

Speaker B:

But, yeah, so they are.

Speaker B:

So Ruby's all.

Speaker B:

They're kind of got, like.

Speaker B:

It's kind of like.

Speaker B:

They don't go back to the panic room right away, do they?

Speaker B:

I don't know.

Speaker A:

They don't.

Speaker A:

They don't.

Speaker B:

Because she's, like, all upset, and she's like, you know, Dean.

Speaker B:

You know, she's freaking out.

Speaker B:

She's freaking out.

Speaker B:

She's just all upset.

Speaker B:

And Anna's hearing angels on a loop at this point, saying, dean Winchester gives us Anna by midnight or we hurl him back to damnation.

Speaker B:

Because that's not ominous.

Speaker A:

It's ominous.

Speaker A:

I really hope she can turn off angel radio.

Speaker A:

Because if you had, like, that one line going in your head over and over again, I would be like, no, no, I'm done.

Speaker A:

I'll go.

Speaker A:

I'll go back.

Speaker A:

Wherever that is so annoying.

Speaker B:

So Sam's asking Ruby.

Speaker B:

He's like, hey.

Speaker B:

Or asking all of them.

Speaker B:

He's like, I need a weapon against the angels.

Speaker B:

And Dean's like, no, we just need to call Bobby back from hedonism.

Speaker A:

Unfortunately, that's not a good plan.

Speaker A:

And they have to think of something.

Speaker B:

So Anna and Dean are talking.

Speaker B:

Anna's scared, but she's very thankful to Dean and other people.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

And they're alone now.

Speaker A:

They're no longer with the group.

Speaker B:

They're very alone.

Speaker A:

And he's reading a book by a lantern, which is, okay, sure, Dean, whatever.

Speaker B:

And so she's thanking Dean.

Speaker B:

He's like, well, I don't want thanks just for trying.

Speaker B:

And she's like, I heard about you in hell, and you know it wasn't your fault.

Speaker B:

You just need to forgive yourself.

Speaker B:

And so I'm like, whoa, what the fuck is she talking about?

Speaker B:

Whoa?

Speaker B:

So we.

Speaker B:

And they've been hinting that something else happened in hell that we have not seen yet.

Speaker B:

And she.

Speaker B:

He's like, yeah, I don't want to talk about it.

Speaker B:

And she's like, like, well, okay, but.

Speaker B:

So she kisses him.

Speaker A:

Well, if you don't want to talk about it, let's bone.

Speaker B:

Let's.

Speaker B:

And makes a joke about being the last night on earth.

Speaker B:

And like, he's like, oh, you stole my line.

Speaker B:

So they go the back of Baby to Bad Company.

Speaker A:

So Baby is getting some.

Speaker A:

Some action.

Speaker A:

And apparently the last time that Dean had sex on here, Bad Company was also playing.

Speaker A:

So I. I would like to think that he actually put, like, the.

Speaker A:

Put the tape into the duck and was like, yeah, we're gonna.

Speaker A:

We're gonna make out to Ready for Love.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

And he does, like, when he put his hand on her side and he's all like, busted knuckles.

Speaker A:

I'm like, okay, yeah, that's kind of hot.

Speaker A:

And then she fondles the scar, and I'm like, that's kind of weird.

Speaker B:

Yeah, she's like, caressing the cat.

Speaker B:

Steel handprint on his shoulder.

Speaker B:

And then we get, like, the cheesiest sex in a car shot ever.

Speaker A:

The Titanic reference, fogged window and the hand.

Speaker A:

So, yeah, if it was real sex in the car, I'd be like, oh, my head's here.

Speaker A:

The steering wheel.

Speaker A:

Oh, crap.

Speaker A:

Like, wait, shit, did I just shift this into neutral?

Speaker B:

My foot's stuck.

Speaker B:

My foot's.

Speaker B:

I'm stuck.

Speaker A:

Oh, crap.

Speaker A:

I'm stuck.

Speaker A:

Like, no, I can't.

Speaker A:

Like, literally, we're stuck like this.

Speaker A:

We live here now.

Speaker B:

We can't make out.

Speaker B:

My neck doesn't turn that way anymore.

Speaker B:

Yeah, yeah, yeah, it is.

Speaker A:

Adults don't have sex in cars.

Speaker A:

Sorry.

Speaker A:

All right, so we're gonna go back to the.

Speaker A:

Just barn.

Speaker A:

Like, I guess we're in the barn.

Speaker B:

House.

Speaker B:

Abandoned house.

Speaker B:

Barn thing that they're in.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

So we see Ruby with one of the hex bags, and she goes to light it on fire by herself.

Speaker B:

Which I'm like, oh, this can't be a good sign because those are the hex bags to keep them from getting tracked.

Speaker A:

Like a really pretty blue.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

So Alistair shows up right away.

Speaker B:

And I'm like, why?

Speaker B:

What is she doing?

Speaker B:

And she's like, desperate times.

Speaker B:

He's like, oh, you just want your knife back, right?

Speaker B:

Here it is.

Speaker B:

Tada.

Speaker B:

And she's like, nope, not really.

Speaker B:

And he's like, well, what the fuck are you doing?

Speaker B:

Protecting an angel.

Speaker B:

She's like, look, I don't want any part of this shit.

Speaker B:

I will get you the goddamn angel and walk away as long as you leave the brothers alone, because this is not their business either.

Speaker B:

And yeah, and they bicker and banter.

Speaker A:

And he calls her a devious, cowardly little slut.

Speaker A:

Ouch.

Speaker B:

But that her offer is very prudent.

Speaker A:

It is.

Speaker A:

It's a pretty good but.

Speaker A:

Man, his voice.

Speaker A:

I just want to punch him.

Speaker A:

I just want to punch him in the dick.

Speaker A:

And then two demons are gonna poof in, and so they poof.

Speaker A:

And then he threatens her, but he's.

Speaker B:

Gonna counter her offer.

Speaker B:

And that's what we get.

Speaker A:

Yep.

Speaker B:

Then we cut away to Dean in the barn, the house thingy.

Speaker B:

And Uriel calls him a monkey in clothes.

Speaker A:

And he says, it's so cute when monkeys wear clothes.

Speaker A:

And he's like, punch you too.

Speaker A:

Punch you in the dick too.

Speaker A:

So much dick punching.

Speaker B:

And so Dean's like, I guess he doesn't have dick.

Speaker A:

We'll find it out a second.

Speaker B:

But yeah, Dean's like, eh, I must be dreaming because you can't track me, motherfucker.

Speaker B:

And so he's like, oh, you're off your leash.

Speaker B:

So he's joking about Uriel being, like, led around by Castiel.

Speaker B:

And he's like, yeah, it's too bad Castiel likes me.

Speaker B:

Likes you?

Speaker B:

So Dean's like, yeah, and I got her grace back.

Speaker B:

And your is like, nah, because I've got it right here, motherfucker.

Speaker B:

And he's wearing it in a necklace.

Speaker A:

Oh, no.

Speaker B:

Oopsies.

Speaker B:

So your bluff doesn't work real well.

Speaker B:

Then he's like.

Speaker B:

Yuri was like, we just can't let the demons get her.

Speaker B:

And she's committed crimes, so she's got to fucking go.

Speaker B:

And Dean calls himself a pain in the pooper.

Speaker A:

Yep.

Speaker A:

Everyone wants to be a pain in the pooper.

Speaker A:

And then we get Uriel making some really gross sex references.

Speaker A:

But then Dean says that he's jumpless down there like a kid.

Speaker B:

Oh, you know what?

Speaker B:

You don't want to talk about the.

Speaker A:

Slice of angel food cake no, because it's gross.

Speaker A:

It's bad.

Speaker A:

The bad line.

Speaker B:

Hate him.

Speaker A:

Dick punch.

Speaker B:

All right, we want angel food cake.

Speaker B:

Not going to lie.

Speaker A:

Yep.

Speaker A:

And so Dean just is just like, you're bluffing.

Speaker B:

Mm.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

He's like, no, I.

Speaker B:

And Dean's like, I don't break easy.

Speaker B:

If you're going to throw me back in the hole, go for it.

Speaker B:

And Uriel's like, you do break easy.

Speaker B:

I just got to apply the right pressure.

Speaker B:

And we all know what the Winchester brothers weak spots are.

Speaker B:

It's each other.

Speaker A:

Interesting.

Speaker B:

They don't say this or pie.

Speaker A:

Actually, I think pie is probably more.

Speaker B:

Yeah, but like, I mean, that's not said in the scene.

Speaker B:

But we all know this as viewers of the show.

Speaker B:

So we cut to a very, very creepy hospital looking basement place thingy.

Speaker B:

Unidentified location with a lot of muffled screaming going on.

Speaker B:

And Ruby is not very well dressed, if dressed at all.

Speaker B:

And gagged and tied up with leather straps.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

So she is very, very naked.

Speaker A:

Torture.

Speaker B:

Very like naked weird mouth gag thingy.

Speaker A:

With a weird mouth gag thing.

Speaker A:

And so during this scene, Genevieve said, you know, I hate being uncomfortable and I laugh a lot when I'm uncomfortable.

Speaker A:

So it's pretty much gig giggling the whole time.

Speaker A:

Because I just did.

Speaker A:

Because I did not feel comfortable in it and I knew the crew was uncomfortable and I kept trying to make jokes and crack light at the situation.

Speaker A:

It was really awkward.

Speaker A:

I was trapped to this thing and barely any clothes and it was freezing cold.

Speaker A:

But Julie was there the whole time with me.

Speaker A:

And when she was tied up, she couldn't cover herself up.

Speaker A:

So like whenever there was like blood running down to her, like, Julie would like go and like cover her and stuff.

Speaker A:

So I love that they were looking out for each other.

Speaker A:

That's really sweet.

Speaker B:

That is.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

So Alistair is talking about Ruby's generation and how they all want instant gratification.

Speaker B:

They have no craftsmanship.

Speaker B:

While he's slicing her up with the demon knife.

Speaker A:

And he just goes.

Speaker A:

He goes into the evil man monologue.

Speaker B:

Yeah, he's been.

Speaker B:

Hadn't been on Earth since 19, since 43 and blah, blah.

Speaker A:

He's in Poland,:

Speaker A:

And I was like, like, what the fuck?

Speaker A:

So Poland,:

Speaker A:

It means the middle of World War II.

Speaker A:

But I was like, so did you come for the what?

Speaker A:

Like, maybe he just went to a concentration camp.

Speaker A:

I don't know.

Speaker A:

I was trying to figure out what the fuck that meant.

Speaker A:

But pretty much it's just an evil man monologue.

Speaker A:

But we do find out that that face mask has a reason.

Speaker A:

And it's there to keep her from smoking out.

Speaker B:

Keep the.

Speaker B:

Keep the demon in her while she's.

Speaker B:

Why they're cutting off the body.

Speaker B:

Yeah, but.

Speaker B:

So he ungags her and she's like, yeah, I'm not gonna tell you where the angel is because you'll kill me, so I'll show you where it is because I just tell you, you've got no reason to keep me alive.

Speaker A:

Yep.

Speaker B:

I'm just smart.

Speaker B:

There we go.

Speaker A:

Back to the barn.

Speaker B:

Back to the barn.

Speaker B:

So we got Sam, Dean and Anna in the barn.

Speaker B:

And they're like, where the fuck is Ruby?

Speaker B:

And.

Speaker B:

And the doors fly open and Castiel and Uriel walk in.

Speaker B:

Wow.

Speaker A:

Dun, dun, dun.

Speaker B:

And Cassiel's like, yeah, it's so good to see you.

Speaker B:

Anna.

Speaker B:

And Sam's like, how are we found?

Speaker B:

And they looks over at Dean, who's just taken a big swig off of his flask.

Speaker B:

And you can tell from his face that Dean gave them up.

Speaker B:

Uriel definitely got to him.

Speaker B:

So Dean's like, look, I'm sorry.

Speaker B:

Sam's real upset.

Speaker B:

But Anna's like, hey, no, I know you were given a choice.

Speaker B:

It's Sam or me.

Speaker B:

So I get it.

Speaker B:

I don't blame you.

Speaker B:

It is what it is.

Speaker B:

They were going to get me anyway.

Speaker B:

And so she kisses Dean and tells him he did the best he could and forgives him.

Speaker B:

Oh, but.

Speaker A:

And she says she's ready.

Speaker A:

And we cut to black.

Speaker A:

And then.

Speaker A:

So we switch.

Speaker A:

And so Cass is just like, man, you know, I'm really sorry.

Speaker A:

And she's like, no, you're not.

Speaker A:

Because you're an angel.

Speaker A:

You don't have, like, real emotions.

Speaker A:

Yeah, you can't really feel this.

Speaker B:

No.

Speaker B:

Orders, orders.

Speaker B:

That's.

Speaker B:

That's the thing, right?

Speaker A:

Yeah, but he's just like, yeah, you know, but we have history.

Speaker A:

So.

Speaker A:

And it kind of goes into that.

Speaker A:

Do you have, like.

Speaker A:

You have some kind of emotions?

Speaker A:

Right?

Speaker A:

Because you're feeling something, you feel loyalty, you feel other things.

Speaker A:

So I think it's just.

Speaker A:

They feel emotions differently as a person.

Speaker B:

That makes sense.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

It has to.

Speaker B:

Because how do you have faith or loyalty or anything if you don't have some emotional structure?

Speaker B:

But anyways, so what happens?

Speaker B:

But she.

Speaker B:

As Anna says, just make it quick.

Speaker B:

The doors come open and Alastair enters with two demons holding Ruby up.

Speaker B:

And they said, don't you dare touch a hair on that poor girl's head.

Speaker B:

And so.

Speaker A:

Yeah, and then we get Uriel and Alastair having a dick measuring contest with words.

Speaker B:

I like that.

Speaker B:

Alistair calls him a sanctimonious, fanatical prick.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

And Uriel calls him a pussing sore, which is also a really great one.

Speaker A:

So then I'm like, fight, fight, fight, fight.

Speaker A:

And ca.

Speaker A:

Like, I'm gonna lay waste.

Speaker A:

And I was like, that sounds kind of gross.

Speaker A:

Like you're just, like, laying poop around.

Speaker A:

Like, what?

Speaker A:

Like, where does like, I get.

Speaker A:

Waste is like another euphemism or something.

Speaker A:

But we should change that phrase.

Speaker A:

Layways is.

Speaker B:

So angels and demons are fighting and they're doing like this where they press their hand to the.

Speaker B:

Angels are trying to press their hands to the angel to the.

Speaker A:

They're trying to smite them.

Speaker A:

They're trying to smite them.

Speaker B:

Well, they don't.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Smite the demon.

Speaker B:

So anyways, Uriel kills one of them, and then Alistair is kind of getting to Castiel, so Dean helps out and hits him in the head with a crowbar.

Speaker A:

Then Alistair goes after them.

Speaker A:

In my new phrase for what demons do.

Speaker A:

And it's not the team.

Speaker A:

It's not the demon fling.

Speaker A:

Because Alistair isn't flinging them them.

Speaker A:

No, he's finger blasting them.

Speaker A:

I have been waiting for, like, a day or two to tell Diana.

Speaker A:

I was like, oh, man, I came up with a new term for this and it's gonna be real gross.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Alistair's finger blasting.

Speaker B:

Oh, my gosh.

Speaker B:

So Alistair is like, oh, I'm disappointed.

Speaker B:

You had promised Dean.

Speaker B:

Hmm.

Speaker B:

So Anna goes to get her grace from Uriel's neck.

Speaker B:

While he's fighting, a demon smashes on the ground and you get this big white smoke appearing.

Speaker B:

So it's like instead of the black smoke for demons, we got a white smoke for angels.

Speaker B:

And it starts entering her mouth and she's glowing and glowing real bright and sucking it down.

Speaker A:

She's just sucking down that.

Speaker B:

Sucking down that smoke cock.

Speaker A:

Sucking down the grace while she's yelling, shut your eyes.

Speaker A:

It's gonna get my eyes like, every time.

Speaker A:

Like, you're like, no, no, like, not my head, not in my hair.

Speaker A:

Why is this in my eyes?

Speaker A:

But.

Speaker A:

But she just goes full on, almost nuclear.

Speaker B:

And Alistair is getting real close while this is happening.

Speaker B:

And then there's like a big blast of light and poof.

Speaker A:

All the demons are gone.

Speaker B:

Everything's gone.

Speaker B:

There's a knife left behind.

Speaker B:

And.

Speaker B:

Yeah, so.

Speaker A:

So we get a.

Speaker A:

A classic villain.

Speaker A:

Uriel.

Speaker B:

This isn't over.

Speaker B:

Dean calls him junkless.

Speaker A:

You're a junkless.

Speaker A:

And then they just flap Away.

Speaker A:

Flap.

Speaker A:

Flap.

Speaker B:

Sam's like, is Ruby okay?

Speaker B:

And he's like, she's like, not so much.

Speaker A:

But we find out it was all planned.

Speaker B:

It was all the plan.

Speaker A:

She got tortured on purpose.

Speaker A:

Okay.

Speaker B:

Setting.

Speaker B:

But yeah, I mean, I guess that's a sacrifice she made.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

So this was all the plan.

Speaker B:

Get them all together, let the angels and demons fight.

Speaker B:

Let it be their fight instead of them being caught in the middle and getting killed in the middle of it.

Speaker B:

So.

Speaker B:

So, yeah, guess.

Speaker B:

And so Sam's like, well, I guess she's some big time angel now.

Speaker B:

She must be happy.

Speaker B:

And Dean's like, I doubt it.

Speaker B:

Because he knows that she doesn't want to be an angel.

Speaker A:

Well, and also, Sam, haven't you figured out like, angels are dicks?

Speaker A:

Yeah, like, yeah, no, clearly she didn't want to be an angel.

Speaker A:

Why would you think she would be happy if Sam, you're stupid.

Speaker A:

All right, so.

Speaker A:

All right.

Speaker A:

So then we cut our closing scene.

Speaker A:

We cut to our closing scene.

Speaker A:

We don't know where Ruby goes.

Speaker A:

Ruby's away.

Speaker B:

She's just doing her thing.

Speaker B:

Doing Ruby things.

Speaker A:

She's doing a Ruby thing.

Speaker B:

So we got the brothers with beers talking on the back of baby.

Speaker B:

And Dean says to Sam, I know you heard what Alistair said about me having promise and sounds like I wasn't gonna push.

Speaker B:

You don't want to talk about this.

Speaker B:

And he's like, look, it.

Speaker B:

It wasn't four months down there.

Speaker B:

It was more like 40 years.

Speaker B:

So now we've known this as viewers, but Sam has not been privy to this information until just now.

Speaker B:

And he's pretty upset this whole last scene.

Speaker B:

I'm just gonna go ahead and say it before we even finish going talking about it because, like, the episode was like, oh, this was kind of intense.

Speaker B:

Okay, cool.

Speaker B:

And just demons, blah, blah, blah.

Speaker B:

And this last scene was like, oh, my God, this is very upsetting scene.

Speaker B:

Very upsetting scene.

Speaker B:

So this is.

Speaker B:

This is, I think, pretty telling about what we've been witnessing somewhat from Dean.

Speaker B:

Some of the odd behavior and things that.

Speaker B:

That he didn't do before he died and went to hell.

Speaker B:

So Sam's really upset.

Speaker B:

Dean's like, yeah, they.

Speaker B:

They sliced.

Speaker B:

Sliced and carved and tore at me until there was nothing left.

Speaker B:

And then the whole thing would start again, like magic all the time, over and over again.

Speaker B:

And Alistair would make me an offer every day.

Speaker B:

I'll take you off the rack if you.

Speaker B:

If I start.

Speaker B:

If go help torture people.

Speaker B:

And he's like, no, I'm not going to do it.

Speaker B:

No, I'm not going to do it.

Speaker B:

And for 30 fucking years he turned down going to help torture people and just let himself be torn apart every day and then start all over the Next.

Speaker B:

But after 30 years, he couldn't do it anymore.

Speaker B:

And he got off the rack and started ripping them apart.

Speaker B:

And he's crying at this point, talking about how he lost count of how many souls he helped torture.

Speaker A:

Yeah, pretty upsetting.

Speaker A:

And then Sam's just like, I don't know what to say.

Speaker B:

You shouldn't be upset.

Speaker B:

You held out for 30 fucking years.

Speaker B:

Who else can hold out that long?

Speaker B:

Jesus Christ.

Speaker B:

That's kind of Sam's reaction.

Speaker B:

And Dean's kind of wraps up.

Speaker B:

He's like how I feel inside me.

Speaker B:

I. I wish I couldn't feel any of this, Sammy.

Speaker A:

I wish I couldn't feel a damn thing.

Speaker A:

And it's so sad like how much pain and like all this shit that just like he does vomited it up now.

Speaker B:

It's a lot.

Speaker B:

That's intense as fuck.

Speaker B:

Luck.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

So.

Speaker A:

And like we don't how long he's been back.

Speaker A:

He's been carrying this around by himself a few months.

Speaker B:

I mean, not.

Speaker B:

Not a huge amount of time, but a few months at least they've been implied that he's been back because it's been this season so far.

Speaker A:

So.

Speaker A:

Yeah, so that.

Speaker B:

That Sam knows.

Speaker B:

So now the audience knows what actually happened in hell.

Speaker B:

So the audience and audience we knew it had been 40 years instead of 4 months now now both Sam knows that and we all, all now know what was happening while he was there in hell.

Speaker B:

Because we've gotten the flashes.

Speaker B:

We've seen the drinking.

Speaker B:

We've seen kind of like weird attitude about it all.

Speaker B:

But now we have like, we've got a bigger picture of what always happening.

Speaker B:

It's not pretty.

Speaker A:

It's not.

Speaker A:

And it explains a lot, right?

Speaker B:

So we did very well put together for 40 years of that shit.

Speaker B:

I'm just saying.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

No, he should have been like in a corner eating his hair when he came back.

Speaker B:

Like so on the ground and like it.

Speaker B:

Let's go.

Speaker B:

Let's.

Speaker B:

Where's my car?

Speaker B:

Like, what the hell?

Speaker B:

I'm impressed now.

Speaker A:

Yeah, he's handling stuffing down his feelings pretty well.

Speaker A:

Stuff down your feelings like a champ, man.

Speaker A:

It's where they belong.

Speaker A:

You don't talk about them.

Speaker A:

You put them down deep.

Speaker A:

And then occasionally, like after a major event like this, then you tell your family what happened and then you put those feelings right back down and we'll see if that's what Dean does, like a smart person.

Speaker A:

And just shove those bottle those feelings right back up where they belong.

Speaker B:

Liz is not a licensed psychologist.

Speaker B:

Please don't always take her advice.

Speaker A:

Please never take my advice.

Speaker A:

Ever.

Speaker A:

Anyway, so I think you said the beginning.

Speaker A:

I think before we started that you're like, oh, I bet you didn't like this episode.

Speaker A:

And I did say there's certainly.

Speaker A:

Like I said, there are certain things.

Speaker A:

Like I said, think the sex scene is done.

Speaker A:

Well, it's.

Speaker A:

I like this.

Speaker A:

We had sex scenes in both.

Speaker B:

Right.

Speaker A:

So we had it.

Speaker A:

We had a Sam scene and we had a Dean scene.

Speaker B:

Everybody's getting laid.

Speaker B:

Yay.

Speaker A:

Everybody's getting angels and demons.

Speaker B:

Which actually is an interesting parallel since Sam has a demon blood and he's fucking a demon and Dean got rescued from hell by angels and he's fucking an angel.

Speaker A:

What?

Speaker B:

I hadn't.

Speaker B:

I didn't put that together till just now.

Speaker B:

You're welcome.

Speaker B:

Interesting.

Speaker B:

But we got sex scenes.

Speaker B:

It was.

Speaker A:

I mean, yeah.

Speaker A:

And.

Speaker A:

And.

Speaker A:

But, like, Sam scene was, like, so much raunchier.

Speaker B:

Right.

Speaker A:

Like, it was such a raunchier sex, which is interesting.

Speaker B:

That's not what you'd expect.

Speaker B:

This was much more like you would expect.

Speaker B:

Sweet.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Like, and in the, like.

Speaker A:

Oh, I. I forgot that I pulled out the.

Speaker A:

From the transcript.

Speaker A:

And they're like bad companies playing.

Speaker A:

Well, Dean and Anna make love.

Speaker A:

And they call it making love, which I hate that term, but, you know, like.

Speaker A:

But it was very much more of like a sweet sexual encounter.

Speaker A:

As opposed to Sam and Ruby, who were just fucking.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

You know, and like, that was like a.

Speaker B:

That was like an emotional release.

Speaker B:

Fucking.

Speaker B:

As opposed to the hate.

Speaker A:

Fuck.

Speaker A:

That was a hate bag kind of almost.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

And sometimes hate sex is better than sweet sex, but, you know, I mean, I guess both of them have their place.

Speaker B:

So it just felt like a very different dynamic than you'd expect from the brothers in those scenarios.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

But.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

No, I mean, I just.

Speaker B:

I guess I just thought, like.

Speaker B:

I don't know.

Speaker B:

Sometimes I try to guess which episodes you like and don't like.

Speaker B:

Number one.

Speaker B:

Not that you don't like.

Speaker B:

I know you don't like.

Speaker B:

There's episodes where you're like, I hate this episode.

Speaker B:

But you're also, like, you still, you know, enjoy the show in general.

Speaker B:

But I think, you know, I think this one is mostly centered, obviously, just around, like, what.

Speaker B:

Like a Who the fuck Anna is.

Speaker B:

That was really.

Speaker A:

This is a.

Speaker B:

This was a defining episode of who is Anna?

Speaker B:

And Pitting the angels and demons against each other and then really giving an opportunity for Dean to reveal more of his story.

Speaker A:

Yeah, so I think we had exposition in this one like we had in the first.

Speaker A:

First part of it.

Speaker A:

But the second part, it was just about more natural.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

So it would have been interesting if they hadn't been split up.

Speaker A:

I don't know.

Speaker B:

Yeah, because it was a good contrast between the two, for sure.

Speaker B:

The episode parts.

Speaker B:

That's all I got.

Speaker A:

Anything else?

Speaker A:

No, that's all I got.

Speaker A:

All right, cheers.

Speaker A:

Jerk.

Speaker B:

Cheers.
